ABOUT ME
Hi again! So, you want to know a little more about me?
​I'm Emma, a creative fireball with a passion for photography, travel, interior design and great food (especially eating it).
​
As a child, taking pictures with my grandpa's camera was my favourite thing to do. Selfies, nature, food,... And especially on holidays, maybe about a hundred pictures per day. He might have regretted letting me use his camera.
But when I turned twenty, my grandpa took me to the store and with my own savings, I bought my very first DSLR camera. A feeling I can only describe as 'Even better than going to Disneyland'.

Last year, I decided to move to Spain for a year and enjoy life to the fullest! Making such a dream come true is both a little scary and very rewarding. That's why I also decided to start my own photography business, because why keep dreaming if I can just go for it?
​
And the rest is history.

In this crazy competitive world, it's hard to stand out. I started wondering what makes me different than other photographers, what makes me 'me'.

Personal
Every shoot is different, I don't have any scripts or specific locations, this is something we come up with together. After a free getting-to-know-you appointment, it's pretty clear what to expect from both sides. No crazy expectations, just a photoshoot up to your wishes and needs.

Comfort
I am well aware that having a camera being pointed at you can make you feel
a little (or a lot) awkward sometimes, preaching to the choir here. That's why I absolutely love the laid back approach where nothing is forced and making you feel good and comfortable is the main purpose.

Full of life
One of my most dreaded days in school, besides for my gymnastics exam, was probably picture day. A static picture where you could only wish you didn't have spinach between your teeth, your clothes were carefully picked out by your mother and a pimple suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Gosh, I hated those photos. Probably another reason why I decided to go a whole other way and take nothing but spontaneous pictures that are full of life, where it doesn't even matter if your child has all their teeth and where you can totally rock that three second ponytail and sweat pants! Yeah, that's what life is all about.
​What separates me from other photographers?
Every human being is unique and acts differently.​
That's what I love most about photography and capturing moments. Unique people call for unique pictures.

For me, all pictures should tell a story. Spontaneity and emotion are my favourite words.
Make other people wonder while creating memories you'll cherish for life.
I'm just the chameleon, tagging along for the day to capture those precious moments from my point of view.​
