NEW BORN
The sweet innocence of a new born child is something definitely worth capturing.
Of course, everyone takes millions of pictures of their new born baby, but a new born shoot is not just another series of photos, it is in fact a reminder of how time flies and how we should remember those precious moments with each other.
This can be done in the comfort of your own home, outside or at any calm environment. All I need is natural light and a quiet, neutral setting. Little ones are extremely photogenic and I'm pretty sure they love taking pictures with their parents and siblings!
Ideally, new born shoots are done between one and three weeks old. All of this depends on how you feel and what moments you want to capture. As you can see, pictures with your baby after just a few months are just as adorable as a tiny sleeping sweet pea.
This can be a collection of anything you want. Some breastfeeding photos, snuggle moments with the whole family, a few pictures with siblings...
Comfort is key here.
There are two options for booking. You can either book and pay for a shoot beforehand and pick a date already, about two weeks after the birth. This date is not binding and has a little wiggle room, just in case. Or you book a shoot without an exact date and let me know the moment the baby's born so I can share my availability with you right away. Of course, reserving a spot with a date comes in handy in busy periods and you have more available time slots.
Why book a new born shoot with me?
I always stick to my three core values.
Personal, comfort and full of life.
Every possible shoot starts off the same, with a introductory conversation.
After a conversation where we get to know each other and learn more about what's possible and what (not) to expect, we can pick a date.
On the day of the shoot, comfort is key. Having a photoshoot at home is a gift, especially with a new born. You have everything you need within arm's reach, babies can sleep comfortably and you are in no rush to get anywhere. But if you prefer any other location, we can talk about that too.
Lastly, if you decide to create and capture some beautiful moments with your little bundle of joy, I can only say that you won't regret it. I'll find a way to make some photos that are both full of life and very 'you'.
